Deputy PM Office spokesman invites everyone to participate the jogging-running activity on Olympic Day 2012 (15/8/2012)

Deputy PM Office spokesman Chalitrat Chandrubeksa invited the public to participate in the jogging-running activity to honor HM the Queen and HRH Crown prince at the King Rama V Monument park on August 26 2012


On 15 August 2012 at the Government’s House, Deputy PM’s Office’s spokesman Chalitrat Chandrubeksa revealed that the National Olympics Committee of Thailand under the royal patronage will organize the jogging-running activity to honor HM the Queen and HRH Crown prince at the King Rama V Monument park on Olympic Day August 26, 2012 starting at 5.00 am. The event is organized to honor HM the Queen on her 80th birthday on 12 August 2012 and HRH Crown Prince on his 5th cycle birthday 28 July 2012. The event is chaired by Suwat Liptapanlop the Deputy Chief of the National Olympics Committee of Thailand.

For route, both 4kms and 8 kms start at King Rama V Monument then run pass the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Sri Ayudhaya road and back to King Rama V monument. Drinking water will be provided along the way together with snack. The participants will receive blue-yellow t-shirt screening “Olympic Day 2012”, Olympic Day 2012 medal and certificate by the OIC.
